i wish i'd saved the weather forecast i went to check on this morning. at 5.30. i was freezing in bed, so i got up to turn my heater on, and this is the first time i've done that, so i thought something was diff. i went online, checked the current weather conditions, and it was 1.3 degrees outside, but they approximated -3.7 as how it felt like. i dunno why i didn't get it, but it only me hit me later how funny that was. cos this is how it looked like:

What it feels like:-3.7▫

haha, so after i got my jollies at the bus stop in town, i did my usual glance at the temperature/clock above the mercury newsbuilding. it was 1▫, and it switched to 2▫ for a second, i swear, and changed back to 1. OMG am i the only one who thinks this was hilarious!?!? cos ppl walking on the streets were all exhaling plumes, and ppl were staring sullenly at the clock, or the sun, (couldn't tell cos the sun was just rising behind it) and i could even see it when i breathed out through my nose.
on a completely bipolar note, today i was just reminded why i get pissed by the FSP. half the time i have to repeat when talking to some of the students, some of the staff there is excruciatingly passiva-condescenda et homo superior at the same time. just cos they're
native speakers. back where i came from, the staff would have died before they showed their vulnerability in front of students, not that they would actually, or in similar manner, where they're suffering from the delusion that it's incredibly endearing or
mateship-ey. wth, come to s'pore, mates. they think we look like chinese nationals so must be deng suah or something.
the only good thing right now is Psych Lady, and not just cos it feels good that she's empathetic (go figure) or some of the stuff she said, but i'm pretty sure she means it. plus now i know they've had ppl from england before, and she says she didn't understand why they had to go through what the rest had. i'm not hoping for anything at this point in time already, cos it'll be harder when it doesn't, you know? and i'm gonna try to not let it bother me so much. cos right now i constantly feel the need to make sure they know i know, you know? and if i don't have high blood pressure already i'm prob going to, cos it's starting to feel more and more frequently like it did with kelly. who btw, is still doing her thang.
